Connor was born & raised in Beach Haven and has been working in restaurants his entire life. He launched his first business, The Barrel Mobile Bar, in 2018. Connor is a 2012 Southern Regional graduate & a 2016 Flagler College graduate.
His wife, Sarah, spent her summers in Surf City growing up in her family’s retail businesses. She opened her own business, Five 0 Six Surf Boutique in 2016 and has since expanded to St. Augustine, Florida.
Connor has dreamed of opening his own quick & delicious spot with healthier options on LBI and is so excited to bring you The Barrel Surf Cafe!
Connor & Sarah live in a small beach cottage in North Beach with their english bulldog, Tola.

As an avid surfer, golfer & small business owner - Connor wanted a place he could grab a quick & healthy meal or snack for before the course, post surf, or in between meeting with clients. While there are many amazing restaurants on LBI, there aren’t many options for quick & delicious options that are healthy & nourishing - until now!
The idea for The Barrel Surf Cafe has been a dream of Connor’s for many years - most of the menu had already been drafted up in a paper notebook, waiting for the right time to be brought to life! In the spring of 2023, the opportunity to take over a cafe/market space on the island arose, and Connor & his wife purchased the business and leased the space.
With an emphasis on local, healthy options The Barrel Surf Cafe wants to be a part of your summers on LBI & is so excited to become an island staple you’ll keep coming back to — we hope to serve you soon!
